No. Invoicing is free forever and does not ask for card details at signup. You only pay when you choose to upgrade for inventory or reporting features.

Add the product first (name, price, unit); there's no quantity field on that form. Then open the product's own page (not the edit form) and use the Adjust field under Stock by Location to set a starting quantity per store. Going forward, receive new stock through a Purchase Order to keep a record of where it came from.

Voiding cancels an invoice entirely, reversing its stock and balance effect. A credit note is for a partial return or billing adjustment on an invoice you don't want to undo completely, with an option to add the returned items back to stock.
