No. Invoicing is free forever and does not ask for card details at signup. You only pay when you choose to upgrade for inventory or reporting features.
Add the product first (name, price, unit); there's no quantity field on that form. Then open the product's own page (not the edit form) and use the Adjust field under Stock by Location to set a starting quantity per store. Going forward, receive new stock through a Purchase Order to keep a record of where it came from.
Free covers core invoicing: creating invoices, recording payments, issuing receipts, and sharing them with customers, with no time limit. Paid plans add inventory and stock management, purchase orders, stock transfers, barcode scanning, and reporting on top of that.
On the product form, set a Base Unit (e.g. Piece) and add an Additional Unit like Carton with a conversion factor (e.g. 24) and its own price. Stock is always tracked in the base unit; a carton count is just that number divided by the conversion factor, not stored separately. You can sell in either unit on an invoice.
Yes, upgrade or change your billing cycle any time from the Subscription page. Changes take effect immediately.
By default, SimpleInvoicely blocks a sale that would take stock negative. In Business Settings you can switch to Allow, which lets you sell into negative stock for pre-orders; every such sale is flagged in the stock history so you can track it.
From your dashboard, go to Invoices and create a new one. Add your customer, line items, any discount or tax, and save. You will get a shareable link you can send directly to your customer, no login needed on their end.
Inventory is what you have on hand right now; your product catalog and stock levels. Purchasing is how you order and receive new stock from a supplier; receiving a purchase order adds to your Inventory automatically.
Yes. Every invoice, receipt, and waybill gets its own private share link. Your customer opens it, sees the details, and can pay directly if you have online payments set up. No account or login required on their side.
Yes, under Inventory > Stock Transfers. Pick a from-store and to-store; both update immediately, there's no separate receiving step.
